WQA: find a certified water treatment professional

Open the official WQA professional directory below. Use its available location filters to search near your community, then check the individual’s name and designation. This website does not host a live listing or rank providers.

CWS means Certified Water Specialist. MWS is an advanced designation addressing more complex treatment design. WQA company membership, an individual’s certification and a product certification are separate credentials.

NASSCO: match the certificate to the work

Use the official certified-professionals directory; NASSCO recommends a last-name search. Check the particular credential instead of accepting a generic “NASSCO certified” label.

BSDI addresses building sewer and drain inspection. Drain Cleaning Certification concerns cleaning practice. PACP, LACP and MACP cover different assessment scopes. BSDI does not itself establish PACP certification. Ask the issuer to confirm a record that is unclear or unavailable.

Florida DBPR: verify a plumbing contractor

Choose a license-number or name search in the official DBPR service. Match the holder, license category, status and associated business. State-certified and registered licenses have different geographic scopes; confirm the authority appropriate to the project. A current license alone does not verify insurance, workmanship or the proposed diagnosis.

Lee County’s October 11, 2026 contractor list associates James Verrelli, CFC1431951 and Superior Plumbing Solutions. That list is not proof of current active status. Check DBPR directly; current active status is not asserted here.

Backflow: start with your water provider

The utility determines its cross-connection program, submission process and accepted tester qualifications. Lee County Utilities directs clients to its program and tester resources; Cape Coral has its own customer portal. Confirm your notice, assembly and due date with your provider. A plumbing contractor license and a tester credential serve different purposes.

Product certification: verify the model and claim

Use WQA and NSF product listings. Compare manufacturer, exact model, standard and specific reduction claim. Certification of a component does not establish that an entire assembled system or every treatment claim is certified.

Keep a record

Save the date, issuer record, certificate holder and scope you checked. Request current documents when a directory is inconclusive. No directory link on this page implies endorsement of Superior or another provider.
