Water and wastewater services may come from different providers. Municipal boundaries, postal addresses and service boundaries do not always match. The resource filter above is a starting point; it does not assign a utility to your property.
Water reports: check the system and the year
Cape Coral and Fort Myers report hubs list 2025 annual water-quality reports as of October 11, 2026. Reports describe the named public system and reporting period. They do not establish the concentration at every tap today. Current boil-water or service notices must be checked directly with the utility.
A North Fort Myers distinction
FGUA’s general North Fort Myers entries are marked wastewater-only in its water-quality table. Separately named systems, including Lake Fairways and Pine Lakes, have drinking-water reports. Use your exact system name rather than assuming one provider from your postal city.
Connections, permits and septic systems
Determine the responsible permitting authority before planning a connection. Cape Coral’s utility extension instructions address the local connection process. A private well, septic system or utility account has its own records and responsibilities; one city’s procedure should not be applied countywide.
No invented service map
Official service maps are linked rather than redrawn into approximate boundaries. Confirm uncertain edges or recent extensions with the utility. This atlas does not provide a live outage or water-safety alert feed.
